Body Ami 10 Foods Recommended for Women::Start with Apple Cider Vinegar http://tinyurl.com/y9qhwmr #splendora

Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for centuries to lower blood sugar and control appetite. Other diets have come and gone such as the alcohol only diet William the Conqueror created when he became too fat to ride his horse. There have been a plethora of food based diets like skim milk and bananas, meat and fat, cabbage soup, the lemonade diet, and even one that claimed “calories don’t count” as long as you drink vegetable oil at the end of each meal.

{October 20, 2009}   Truth About Nutrition

For those of you who watch what you eat, here’s the final word on nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies:
1. The Japanese eat very little fat And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4.. The Italians drink a lot of red wine And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

BIKINI WEAPON: SIPPING VINEGAR

When Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie – real name Stacy Ferguson – got hitched to actor Josh Duhamel, 37, this January, her honeymoon bod was hot. And still is. Her diet secret? She downs shots of vinegar, which her trainer Natasha Kufa claims flushes out fat in the colon and helps the body digest food (it’s even meant to cut out cravings!).

Fergie’s a fan anyway, saying: “I do vinegar shots. It has to be organic apple cider, unfiltered. Two tablespoons. For some reason I’ve noticed a difference to my stomach.”

New research validates fat burning and weight loss as potential benefits from drinking apple cider vinegar. This article will appear in the July 8 issue of the ACS Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry

“Acetic Acid Upregulates the Expression of Genes for Fatty Acid Oxidation Enzymes in Liver to Suppress body Fat Accumulation”

Researchers in Japan are reporting new evidence that the ordinary vinegar -a staple in oil-and-vinegar salad dressings, pickles, and other foods – may live up to its age-

As signs emerge that Mexico’s H1N1 outbreak may be easing, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services says doctors are seeing patients with seasonal flu, as well as the patients confirmed to have H1N1.

There is an easy way to help prevent either illness, however, and it’s as easy as eating. “I think that nutrition really plays a key component in making sure that your immune system is healthy,” says Stephanie Schieffer, a Clinical Dietitian with Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.

{April 28, 2009}   Back Again

Oy, had my birthday on the 17th and all hell broke loose. Yes, I am a healthy living, very fit, chick thats likes to have fun. So enough about me here is another healthy tip: While this isn’t a new revelation, it’s interesting to learn about the latest findings about health risks and red meat consumption from a large federal study of more than 500,000 Americans between 50 and 71 years old, conducted by the National Cancer Institute.

It’s the first study to link mortality to consumption. Previous research linked red meat to an increased risk of heart disease and colorectal cancer, but findings from this study show that those who consumed a quarter-pound of red meat daily were 30% more likely to die.
